Thank you for agreeing to fill in this questionnaire. A detailed report will be available to Nina Smart and Natural Dog Training Australia for the purpose of evaluation and management of your dog only. Any and all information provided by you will be kept confidential unless you give express permission for it to be shared.

C-BARQ stands for Canine Behavioral Assessment & Research Questionnaire. It is a standardised test of 100 questions used to evaluate behavior and temperament and is well-validated tool used by behaviorists, trainers, veterinarians, breeders, researchers, shelters, and dog guardians for over a decade.

It only takes about 15 minutes to complete and is designed to assess any dog older than 6 months.

Step by step instructions

Please follow the step-by-step instructions below to access this and register your dogs through Natural Dog Training Australia.

Go to:
Click the “Sign Up” button. Set up a profile by creating a username and password for yourself.
Next, select the “Add a Dog” box.
Of the options provided for type of dog, please select “Dog is participating in a study.”
Click “Next”
Select “Natural Dog Training Australia” from the list of organizations & enter the unique access code: 211522

Click “Next”
Enter your Dog’s name, age, breed, sex, and Case/ID #*information
*Your Case/ID # is your dog’s name and your family name (e.g. Fido_JohnD)

Click “Add Dog”

Congratulations! You are ready to click “Evaluate My Dog” and begin the C-BARQ.
